In the project carried out for P.A. System, a company specializing in industrial pre-treatments, we developed an integration between the SAP Business One ERP and the scales present on the production line. In this context, at the end of the processing, it is essential to weigh the boxes containing the treated products, ready for delivery to the customer. The solution implemented, through an application external to SAP Business One, allows the operator to select the order to be processed, weigh the box and automatically send the data necessary to the management system for warehouse unloading and generation of the delivery note.
This solution has made it possible to significantly optimize business processes, eliminating repetitive manual operations and reducing information management times. The time gained in these phases translates directly into a reduction in operating costs, since it allows for a reduction in the use of personnel in administrative activities and manual data management. Furthermore, process automation has reduced the margin of human error, contributing to greater efficiency and precision in all production phases.
