We are happy to announce the second edition of the National Conference “Evolution and Prospects of the Feed and Milling Industry” organized by AGER, the Italian network for agribusiness that provides control and integration of production processes and business information flows.
The Event will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Fico Eataly World in Bologna and will feature outstanding speakers:
- Dr. Chiara Corbo, Director of the Smart Agrifood Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano will open the day with a speech dedicated to Blockchain and other digital innovations in the field, with applications in the agricultural sector;
- Honorable Paolo De Castro, MEP, an expert on agricultural and agri-food systems will elaborate on the opportunities for the livestock sector from the new CAP and NRP;
- Dr. Andrea Cagnolati, president of Grain Services will close the insights with the interesting topic of forecasting and managing fluctuations in commodity markets.
This will be followed by a stage-to-stage debate moderated by journalist and agronomist Francesco Zerbinati that will also feature Giuseppe Tresso, CEO of BEF, an insect breeding startup for feed production, and Dr. Roberto Ranieri, CEO of Open Fields.
