You can find the in-depth study related to logistics <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sys-datgroup.com\/versya\/en\/blog-en\/logistics-and-transportation-where-to-find-room-for-improvement\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2469\">AT THIS LINK<\/a> <\/p>\n\n<p>The last aspect we explore in this series, but by no means the least important, is <strong>the integration between the logistics software and the software with which the factory is managed (MES).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The greater the synergy between these two software, the greater the productivity of the factory and the efficiency of all departments (production, logistics and warehouse).<\/p>\n\n<p>There are times in the life of manufacturing companies when &#8220;seamless&#8221; work between the two software is essential.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is evident whenever we are faced with <strong>urgent orders<\/strong>, both in terms of <strong>delivery time and in the production area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>In these cases, it is essential that software <strong>always <\/strong>makes information regarding planned orders <strong>available and shared <\/strong> <strong>with all users involved in the production, logistics, and shipping processes, <\/strong>so that work and deliveries can be organized, with the saturation conditions of delivery vehicles attached.<\/p>\n\n<p>Not only that, a smooth integration between the software allows the planning and the same production of incoming orders, with attached the updated situation of the <strong>saturation of storage silos<\/strong> and the status of incoming raw materials, so as to have a rhythmic and sustainable production over time, which avoids blockages to the departments while optimizing costs and production time.<\/p>\n\n<p>This post concludes the series of three articles on fixed cost optimization in the feed, milling and integrator industries.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>But it is only the beginning!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>We wanted to share with you the theoretical foundations that have given us guidelines over time to understand what can be used to improve daily operations.<\/p>\n\n<p>We will soon be inviting practitioners to a private, online meeting in which we will go into detail about these issues and see areas of focus with you.<\/p>\n\n<p>Stay tuned!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the last two articles, we have addressed the macro-areas related to fixed costs in the feed and milling industry, and we have gone into detail on logistics optimization, covering loads, travel arrangements, and transportation variables.
