FREELANCE SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Ideal candidates should have good skills, many years of experience and possible Certifications in one or more of the following areas:

Requirements

• Microsoft or Linux systems, preferably in an enterprise environment
• Virtualization technologies(VMware)
• Application server
• Systems automation
• DevOps and Cloud Technologies
• Backup
• Storage
• Database
• Scripting and/or programming languages

Knowledge of:

• Basic knowledge in Networking (switches, routers, balancers) and Protocols (TCP, NFS, CIFS, etc.)
• Basic knowledge in Security (Firewall, VPN, etc.)
• Familiarity with Network Services such as DNS, DHCP and Active Directory
• Troubleshooting skills, problem determination
• Ability to analyze performance and tune systems
